LH-2110 The Fourteenth Street Villa Lakewood, NJ
For the ultimate in vacation settings a short drive from anywhere in the tri-state area, indulge in a stay at the Fourteenth Street Villa. Unparalleled and not to be found anywhere else, this five-bedroom property with add-on suite boasts an indoor heated swimming pool and lounging area. Located in the center of “original” Lakewood, it is close to many shuls and shopping venues, and within walking distance to both BMG and “the lake.” Shabbos can be spent taking a stroll along the water or immersing yourself in Torah study within the hallowed halls of the most famous Beis Medrash on the East Coast.
Begin your stay by stepping through the double doors of your newly renovated private rental home and taking in the elegant foyer, with the decorative artwork and entry table. Choose to turn either to the left and settle into a comfortable den with sage-colored leather sofa and two matching club chairs surrounding a fireplace to keep you toasty on those chilly winter nights, or to the right where you enter the formal living and dining area. Two silvery grey leather couches and coordinating white leather and chrome swivel chairs are set up for comfortable family chats, with the dining table situated within arm’s reach. This expansive area has room to host a large Sheva Brachos, Yom Tov meal, Shabbos shiur, or one huge Shabbos party for all the grandchildren of the family.
The brand new kitchen with its sleek white quartz wraparound countertop and stainless gas-burner cooktop, ovens, micro, and large French-door refrigerator join an abundance of upper and lower cabinets plus a large pantry. This setup makes this the ideal location to prepare meals for your whole family with ease. A nearby dinette table overlooks the spacious backyard area through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Directly off the kitchen to one side is the laundry center, that leads into a full bathroom with a huge shower, large enough to bathe the kids all at once.
Opposite the kitchen on the other side is a door that leads to the indoor heated swimming pool and lounge area. Stunning teal-cushioned wicker L-shaped couch and dining table and chairs greet you as you enter this large expanse of square footage and, as your eyes gaze further, you will be “wow”ed by the Olympic-sized heated pool, positioned directly under a multitude of skylights, with lounge chairs strategically positioned for post-swim “rests.” Sliding glass doors lead out onto a large wooden deck that has built-in benches, additional lounge chairs, and a descending ramp that takes you to the remainder of the backyard area. With plenty of room all around the fenced-in property, and with a screened-in gazebo being the center focal point of the yard, Shabbos afternoon activities of hide and seek and tag for the kids are pre-programmed into your vacation before you have even arrived.
Off the den area you will find four bedrooms. The master has two queen-size beds with stunning linens, a comfy chair for reading your favorite magazine, and large windows overlooking the backyard, so plenty of natural light can bathe your room any time you choose to have the dawn-to-dusk shades set in the open position. A private bathroom with separate shower and tub has a double-sink vanity and is decorated in show-stopping tiles along the walls and on the floor.
The other three bedrooms, each with plenty of storage for clothing and toys, offer you a choice of full-size beds, twins, and twin hi-risers. You can feel comfortable inviting all the married children to spend Shabbos or Yom Tov with you, knowing that each set will have plenty of space to spread out. A full bathroom with combined tub and shower and a double-vanity sink is located in between all the bedrooms, so bathing time is convenient for all.
A additional private suite is located off the pool area. This spacious one-room area can be accessed either from within the house or from the outside, offering its occupants an added measure of privacy. A bonus feature is that it is handicapped accessible, making it ideal for guests with limited mobility. A large open room houses two 48” beds, a full-size leather sofabed, and a large closet to store your clothing and luggage. Complete with a small glass dining table with lucite dining chairs plus a kitchenette area outfitted with a mini-fridge, sink, and cabinets to store your snacks, this suite will be the most coveted of all the bedrooms in the villa! Flooring for this area is sleek carpet-tile, comfy and soft.
A full bathroom is also reserved exclusively for guests of this suite, with a tub and shower combination, and plenty of room to get ready in the morning for your day on the town.
The Fourteenth Street Villa goes beyond anyone’s dream of a vacation home and will more than exceed your expectations.
Additional cleaning and damage waiver fees apply to every booking.

How to triple your Simche Stay experience in Lakewood
Could not have been happier with our choice
Luxury home, indoor pool, expansive tree-lined property, quiet streets, circular driveway, ample parking, beautiful neighborhood… that’s the Lakewood we found, at the Fourteenth Street villa. The small look and simplicity of the house from the front had us guessing if we really at the right place, but entering the large foyer with the ever-unfolding spacious living areas to both the right and left, gave us an almost “Alice in Wonderland” feeling, as room after sizable room appeared.
Luxuriously appointed furnishings, comfortable linens, designer fixtures and the brand new hardwood flooring throughout showed the attention to detail put in by our host to ensure a wonderful stay. The included amenities like washing cups, kosher lamps, extra pillows and blankets, and selected siddurim / seforim, hot-plate, crock pot, kiddush cup, challah board and more made for an easy and quick shabbos setup. For food, a short five minute drive took us to the Gourmet Glatt Shopping Plaza where we loaded up on Shabbos delicacies, wine and take-out.
We accidentally set off the child-safety alarm entering the pool room - good to know, as it made us feel quite safe having the pool on premises with kids around. There were pool toys, noodles and even an exercise bike around the perimeter, and the pool was warm, clean and well-maintained. The room even featured a built-in surround sound speaker system to play your favorite music right off your phone! But Shabbos was coming, and we were glad to find many shuls of every stripe convenient to the house for minyan, and the weather lent itself to a wonderful leisurely walk to explore the neighborhood over Shabbos.
After Shabbos we invited family over and the kids swam while the rest of us chatted over hot pizza, and enjoyed trying our hand at the ping-pong table in the enclosed gazebo in the yard. While not as updated as the rest of the house, the large deck had a grill, more patio furniture and plenty of space to run around and a paved basketball court enhances the stay for those who are sports-oriented. We could not have been happier with our choice to stay with Lakewood Hosts at the Fourteenth Street Villa, and highly recommend it to all of our readers and friends!
